Students and mentors met at Thornton Tomasetti’s office.  Two activities were arranged for the students. The first activity was arranged to teach the students about project management.  Students were divided into teams.  Each team was given a budget and a brief.  Teams were required to build the tallest tower possible that was able to hold a stack of 10 pennies. Materials to build the tower consisted of 4×6 cards, and tape.  Teams were charged for each piece of card and tape they purchased.  The second activity, reviewed the programs that the students had voted for the week before and they discussed further how they could refine the list further.
