Over the past 17 years, the Chicago ACE Mentor Program has awarded its participants over 1.3 million dollars in renewable four-year college scholarships and has provided over 139 paid summer internships. Through these opportunities and through the hundreds of hours of one-on-one mentoring they receive, the students gain a broad understanding of career possibilities, real-life and real-work experience, confidence in working with others, and enthusiasm for the part they can play in the industry.
