Week 9 Recap
Alright, I missed last week’s meeting, but rumor has it that the sustainability activity was a lot of fun. (Someone will have to fill me in on it at this week’s meeting.) Like Mike said in his e-mail everyone has a homework assignment: Read the LEED checklist that is attached below and pick 3 credits you would like our project to pursue. If you need any inspiration see the gas station that is featured in this week’s “Random Fact of the Week.” See everyone on Tuesday!
Where We Go From Here
Next meeting:
Goettsch Partners office @ 224 South Michigan Ave, Floor 17
5:00 – 7:00 on January 22nd
The topic for the next meeting will be ARCH 102, which will get us ready for the Design Charrette that will held the following week. If you are curious about the remaining schedule check out the link below for the schedule.
Random Fact of the Week
The first gas station (see picture below) in the United States to be submitted for LEED certification is in Los Angeles, CA and was designed by Office dA in Boston and Johnston Marklee Architects in Los Angeles.
Remember keep thinking MAKE-WATCH-PLAY!
