Another week of working through design! I got so entrenched in the design process this week that I totally forgot to take pictures! Nonetheless, there was a lot of work and coordination going on to start bringing this building to life. There are floor layouts being produced, 3D models being built, and facades being structured. At this point, there are lot of great ideas being hatched, but what is really important right now is coordinating with everyone in your group, to ensure we get an efficient and logical design idea through all floors inside and outside.
Also remember that applications for scholarships are due at the end of next week!! Here are the instructions again of how to apply –> ACE 2014_Scholarship Instructions to Students. And if you haven’t done so already, ask for a recommendation right meow (I hope you guys aren’t too young to get that…). I know looking at cat photos on the internet is a wonderful way to pass time, but seriously take this ACE 2014_School_Recommendation_Form and give it to the teacher that likes you the most and will say glorious things about how awesome you are, and have them fill it out so you can get money!
Keep the work coming – I’m excited to see the ideas that you all bring to the table next week! And for some enjoyment during the Olympic season, check out the architecture of the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics! USA 🙂
