We had a great meeting last night.  The students learned about some of the basic concepts of sustainability as it relates to the design industry.

After that we broke the students into 2 groups and let them to both take part in a visual listening exercise and perform site analysis for our building site.  The students considered a number of different characteristics of the architecture and interiors as they selected their favorite images from the visual listening exercise.  They also learned a number of different site factors that influence the design of a building, such as sun exposure, site access, transportation connections and more.
