Last Wednesday marked the beginning of yet another exciting year for the ACE mentors and students. In the Jones College Prep auditorium, Executive Director Pat O’Connell gave an introduction to the program before awarding a couple scholarships to distinguished ACE alumni.

We then headed up to our separate classrooms for our team break out sessions. After going through some administrative items, Team 7 started to get to know each other via a buddy system. Each mentor was paired with a student, and we spent a few minutes getting to know each other before circling up and making introductions to the whole team.

We’re excited to get going this Wednesday with a couple fun activities. Don’t forget – meetings will be held at AS + GG’s office every week (unless we tell you otherwise). See you all there at 5:00pm! Dinner will be provided.
