This Tuesday, students and mentors got their first chance to look at their site in person! We met at ARUP office where Mentor Nic Hnastchenko introduced them to Site Analysis and learn about many of the different elements that will be affecting their designs. From loud trains, to sun light, students and mentors had a chance to think and analyze the site and its surroundings. They first started by identifying on a site map all the features they consider important when designing a museum. Then, they all visited the site to look for features they had not yet considered. At the end of the day, students reflected on why it was important to first learn about bubble and parti diagrams before analyzing the site.
